Paul – Re-construction of Education Committee

• Focus on improving learning through discussion with the education committee
• Restorative Practices/ICT/Maths are the main areas
• Give direction as to what ICT resources have been bought
• Parents engaged and involved in the process

Peter – Electronic Staff Handbook

• Induction processes for new staff
• No handbook
• Policies informal/ not up to date
• Electronic format which are available for everyone.
• Working with Senior School Leader and other staff

Andy – Curriculum Reform

• Education for Sustainable Development as part of Professional Leave
• Camps program that leads into the curriculum
• Links in with Sustainable Schools Program

Gill – Implementation of Cars and Stars Program

• Looking into data in relation to Assessment and Reporting
• Implementing Cars and Stars Program
• Visit other schools and see how they are using it

Danielle – Parent Handbook

• Parent Handbook for Prep intake
• Working with lots of staff
• Would like samples from other schools

Barbara – Establish and Guide PLT

• Working with another colleague who is at this course
• LT’s for improving student outcomes in Numeracy and Literacy
• Introducing professional reading

Katie – Unit Planner

• As part of TPL develop online unit planner which includes VELS, POLT, Assessment strategies etc.

* Expensive staffing budget
* Classroom resource tools seem limited to worksheet lessons.
* Buildings run-down.
* Budget decision making by Principal class.
* Lack of funding applications (grants).

INTERESTING
* Budgets?
* Quality of classroom environments?
